Airport transfers, local drivers and simple ways to reach Oemah Tepi Sawah.
Welcome to Our Village
Oemah Tepi Sawah is located in the countryside of Bali, near Penebel and the Jatiluwih rice terraces.
You can arrange your own transportation, use an online taxi service, or ask us to connect you with one of the local drivers from our village.
There is no obligation to use our local drivers. We want you to choose whichever option is easiest and most comfortable for you.
Your Options
Bali Airport (DPS) has plenty of transport options. You can choose the cheaper convenience of an online taxi or arrange a trusted local driver through Dewi.
Option 1
It is easy to find taxis at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), and you can also use an online taxi app such as Grab.
This will usually be the cheaper option for getting to Oemah Tepi Sawah.
If you are comfortable arranging your own transportation, there is absolutely no need to book a driver through us.
Option 2
If you prefer, Dewi can connect you with one of the trusted drivers from our village whom we know personally.
One advantage is that the driver already knows exactly where Oemah Tepi Sawah is, so your arrival in our rural part of Bali can be a little easier.
With your permission, Dewi will give the driver your WhatsApp number. The driver will then contact you directly to arrange the meeting point, pick-up time and price.
Good to Know
An airport taxi or Grab will usually be cheaper. A local driver can be more convenient because they already know exactly where to find us.
Local Driver
Let Dewi know that you would like help arranging a local driver.
With your permission, Dewi will share your WhatsApp number with the driver.
The driver will contact you directly so you can agree on the price, time and meeting point.
Your driver will meet you at the agreed location and bring you directly to Oemah Tepi Sawah.
Leaving Oemah Tepi Sawah
Grab and Gojek can normally bring guests to Oemah Tepi Sawah.
Getting a Grab or Gojek from our location can be more difficult because there are fewer online drivers nearby.
For this reason, we recommend arranging your onward transport before you leave.
Not Only the Airport
Local drivers can also take you from Oemah Tepi Sawah to your next hotel or another destination in Bali.
Just ask Dewi and she can connect you with a driver. You can then discuss the destination, departure time and price directly with them.
