A peaceful open-air space for yoga, meditation and mindful movement, surrounded by tropical greenery and the quiet atmosphere of the Balinese rice fields.
Practice surrounded by fresh air, tropical greenery and the peaceful sounds of nature.
The studio overlooks the surrounding rice fields, creating a calm and naturally beautiful setting for your practice.
An intimate space suitable for individual practice, couples or small yoga sessions of up to seven people.
Traditional wooden architecture connects the studio naturally with the garden and surrounding landscape.
We can arrange a private yoga session in our Yoga Studio with local teacher Komang Swandewi. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience and guides guests through Hatha Yoga and traditional Balinese Watukaru Yoga.
A Story of Kindness
Our Yoga Studio has a very special story. β€οΈ
A kind French woman named Sophie helped us organize a GoFundMe campaign to make this dream possible. Thanks to her generosity and the support of many wonderful people, the campaign raised β¬6,500, which helped us build the yoga space you see today.
We are deeply grateful to Sophie and to everyone who contributed. Many of those kind people have never had the chance to visit Oemah Tepi Sawah and see what their generosity helped create.
We still hope that one day we will have the opportunity to meet them and welcome them here. And if we never do, we can only send them our heartfelt gratitude and pray that God blesses them for their kindness. π
βWithout you, Oemah Tepi Sawah would not be what it is today.β
If you are one of the people who supported the campaign and happen to find this website, please get in touch with us. We would be truly happy to welcome you to Oemah Tepi Sawah and arrange a yoga session for you in the very room you helped bring to life. β€οΈ
Our Yoga Studio is designed as a simple and peaceful place where guests can reconnect with themselves and the nature around them.
Start your morning with gentle yoga while the rice fields wake up, spend a quiet moment in meditation during the day, or enjoy an evening stretching session as the tropical air begins to cool.
There is no need for a strict schedule. The studio is here for you to enjoy at your own pace during your stay at Oemah Tepi Sawah.
Would you like to practice yoga here? We can arrange a one-hour yoga session with our local teacher Komang Swandewi , combining Hatha Yoga with traditional Balinese Watukaru Yoga.
